ICT PROJECT OF SCIENCE ( CLASS VIII)

ICT PROJECT  

 ENSURING QUALITY EDUCATION IN UPPER PRIMARY  is an approach of KVS to encourage student centric learning . Several institutes are adopting distance learning and e-learning which has completely changed the ways of delivering education to the students. It provides access to education for the students in remote areas, unprivileged individuals, disabled students, and others according to the recommendations of NEP 2020 . A sample project is prepared which is based on it, for the chapter METALS AND NON METALS of class VIII , science . This project is according to the concept of e- learning. This model project is prepared  for encouraging ICT.

       The main features of this project are  given below :

  1. Use of ICT judiciously in teaching- learning process .

  2. Showing the pictures of metals and non metals so that student can observe the change in appearance .

  3. Arranging the physical properties of metals in a systematic way so that it becomes easy to memorize the students

  4.  Some interesting points about metals and non metals are given  which increases their general knowledge .

  5. Open ended question are given at suitable places .

  6.Activities  performed by students and teachers are given at suitable places .

  7. Innovative activities are given which help the student to conclude about properties of metal and non metal.

  8.Now a days  book reading tendency is disappearing in the students .To increase book reading habits of students review of famous book related with topic is given which is also available on internet . Mark division  for book review is also given .

 9.Simple home works are given which are related with other subjects also .    

 10. This e- project can easily be assessed by students in home , library , computer lab at any time as it is available on search engine GOOGLE ,so it is easy all students .

 11 . New scientific words are introduced to increase the science vocabulary of students .

 12. You Tube video related  with topics are also given at the last for students which make them familiar with experiments . 

 13. Web destinations related with topic are given for further web browsing of students .

14. Interesting facts about metals and non-metals contains some applications of metals and non -metals which are relevant.These facts are compiled as progress in the civilization of human being.

15.This project is also linked with thinkquest.com/library and http://cbse.gov.in/publications/science_activity_class_ Viii.pdf which enables teacher as well as students with a lot of information , formative assessments and their evaluation pattern.
